HELLO.

CREATIVITY is CONTAGIOUS.

PASS it on.

- ALBERT EINSTEIN

Dear all,

I began my vision at 5 years old when I said that I would be in the arts and be a fashion designer but what did I really know at 5 years old? I went on to draw unicorns and rainbows to painting still life sculptures and nude drawings. I directed my art studies to Fashion Design. I was traditionally trained in sewing, draping, pattern making and sketching which is the base of my creativity. The real start of my fashion career was in New York, designing Woman's ready to wear. I have such a passion for contemporary fashion and a desire for independent travel that I went to Los Angeles for a few years afterwards.

In Los Angeles, I learned the real in and outs of putting a full line together with my bare hands. A passion for originality, functionality and modern designs became ingrained in me then and continues to propel me to go forward.

I fed my desire of independent travel by being so fortunate to see India, Morocco, Australia and many other countries with my own eyes. Thinking globally is such an essential part of broadening my vision while designing.

I moved back home to New York and worked for one of the biggest American retailers in the country. This opportunity had me learn the retail business side of the apparel industry. I value the knowledge of understanding how It is important to know your business and be able to react to the customers' needs as quickly as possible while collaborating with a large wonderful team.

The most valuable part of my journey as been the relationships that are cultivated through creative partnership. To inspire and influence as well as be inspired and influenced by the creative visionaries I have had the pleasure of working with has been essential to my experiences.

As a passionate, results-driven design leader, my focus is in developing innovative trend strategies that support merchandising and sales objectives. My design expertise is in the areas of knits & wovens, denim and outerwear product. I have a successful history in identifying fashion and business opportunities while influencing brand image with strong presentation expertise. I thrive in fast paced environments that demand critical thinking, strong organizational and interpersonal skills.

At the end of the day, I believe that the most essential joys of what I do is to make women feel good in what they are wearing and also transform their self-esteem. It starts with the designs.

As Alexander McQueen has said wonderfully "I want to EMPOWER women. I want people to be afraid of the women I dress".

Much love,

LCL
